Festoon Lights are rapidly increasing in popularity over traditional String Lights during the festive period. Christmas is the perfect opportunity to utilise the power of Festoon Lights. Festoons can be adorned from tree branches both indoors and outdoors, strung across gutters and even hung from post to post.

 

Consider whether you want an Icy white-tone bulb or warm white to keep cosy in the colder months. Each colour creates a different ambience, it is important to consider what mood you are trying to set when creating your display.

Festoons on your Christmas Tree

Draping Festoons on your outdoor Christmas tree is the perfect alternative to string lights if you are going for the minimal trend. Up to 20 sets of our Connectable Lighting systems can be attached totalling 240 metres, perfect for those larger trees in Town Centres and Shopping Centre displays.

 

Our Lighting Guide

Commercial Christmas Trees range in size depending on their location. An outdoor tree within a town centre is often used as the main focal point for Christmas Markets and Fairs. We have created a guide so that you can purchase or hire the correct amount of lighting.

 

10ft Christmas Tree

For a 10ft tall Christmas tree, we recommend 60 metres of Festoon Lights. Our 230V LED Festoon String Lights are 12 metres each, so you would need 5 sets.

 

20ft Christmas Tree

For a 20ft Tall Christmas Tree, you would need approximately 180 metres of Festoon Lights, which would equate to 15 sets of our 230V LED Festoon String Lights.

 

30ft Christmas Tree

If your Christmas Tree is 30ft tall, we recommend you use 240 metres of Festoon, which would be 20 sets which is the maximum amount you can connect using our 230V LED Festoon String Lights. If you would like a more densely lit Tree, you could add additional lighting on an extra supply network.
