Our Partnership with Idolight
From Italy to Lincoln.
You have probably seen the name pop up across our website, so we thought we would tell you a little more about our partnership with the innovative lighting company; Idolight.
Idolight is a global industry-leading company in the realisation of projects and solutions in the universe of LED light decorations, specialising in urban spaces, commercial areas, buildings, happenings and events. Idolight’s Artistic Direction is proudly Italian: all of the products and projects bound for worldwide locations are conceived and drawn in its Headquarters, based in Reggio Emilia. Idolight’s products are firmly focused on infusing emotions by enhancing the beauty of in-and-outdoor spaces, entwining the most recent LED technologies and the very finest design.
Our partnership is a story of planes, trains and automobiles. It all started at Christmas World, Frankfurt in 2012. Wendy and the companies’ previous director went to Christmas World looking for a reliable lighting supplier for their growing retail business. Idolight had a stand at the convention which is where both parties first met. After the initial encounter, the Director of Idolight; Domenico, took an adventurous trip from Italy to rural Lincolnshire (which can be daunting for the best of folk). The business relationship went from there.
It all changed in 2014 when Operations Director Russell Brown joined the team and the company expanded rapidly by offering a bespoke lighting installation service. Being new in the game, Fizzco trialled a couple of European suppliers including Idolight, but quickly realised that Idolight products are faster to install, easier to assemble and safer for our installation teams to use. Idolight is now our preferred lighting supplier and Fizzco use there easy joint system in almost all our professional installations.
The partnership has gone from strength to strength because of the efficiency of the company’s presence on the global market. Idolight’s design, logistics, production, storage and distribution has meant we are able to offer bespoke and unique lighting solutions to our customers, all backed by after service support and first-class resolution of any rare problem that may occur.
